What is a Lightroom Preset?

Ever wondered how everyone on Instagram edits their Animal Crossing photos? Most of us use Lightroom presets! Using presets not only gives your photo a unique look, but they also help to add consistency to your feed and enhance the natural beauty of your images!

The Hyacinth Stems preset

The Hyacinth Stems preset is perfect for spring on your island! This preset turns the vibrant green shades of spring into a soft sage green, accentuates vibrant pinks of the sakura, and brightens the blues of the sky, for an all-round soft, yet defined image. 

Tip: If the image doesn't look quite right, play around with the Brightness and contrast!

When to use it: 

This filter works best during the day (7am-4pm) between the in-game dates of:

Northern Hemisphere: 15th March- 1st May 

Southern Hemisphere: 15th September- 1st November

(can also be used into summer, but greens change color and become more vibrant)

How do I use it?

All you need is a phone that supports the free Adobe Lightroom app!

After your purchase is made, you will be prompted to download a DMG file (the preset) and a PNG file, which is a quick step-by-step guide to using a Lightroom preset! Save both to either the 'files' or your 'camera roll' on your phone! This can sometimes be confusing the first time, so feel free to ask me questions via. Instagram @laguna.crossing!
